Hello and welcome to The Biotope Collective.

"As a small child I had a deep connection with my local ecosystems - I was fortunate enough to grow up alongside the Wimmera River and Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park in Western Victoria, Australia. I was fascinated by the various types of flora and fauna both above and below the water, which stemmed a passion for creating my very own pieces of nature inside my home and work space. Creating biotopes helped continue the child-like joy and wonder I experienced in my youth."

We built this site in the hopes of igniting the same passion in fellow hobbyists, from beginner through to advanced, and capturing the imagination of the next generation. We provide all of the supplies needed to create your very own biotopes at home, with cost effective prices in mind (because who doesn't love a bargain), and the expert knowledge and support of fellow hobbyists to guide you along your own biotope journey.
