Setup Instructions:
Soak the sponge in aquarium water for 5 minutes before use. Connect an airline from an air pump to the sponge filter and place in your aquarium.
Bacteria colonies can take 3-4 weeks to develop. During this time, monitor your water parameters such as Ammonia and pH closely.
For new aqauriums, it is recommended that you only lightly stock with aquatic animals during this 3-4 week bacteria colonisation period.
Always use aquarium water to rinse clean the sponge, never use hot water or tap water.
